ZiiZii supports two integration methods: direct API integration for modern ERP and WMS platforms, and file-based integration for systems that don’t support API connections. The file-based method is specifically designed to work with legacy environments like AS/400, AIX, and other older or custom-built platforms that many distributors still rely on. This means ZiiZii can integrate with your systems regardless of how modern or legacy your current setup is.
Who manages the integration — Ziiware, our IT team, or our ERP provider?
Integration is managed by Ziiware’s professional services team, either directly or in collaboration with your ERP provider, software reseller, or technology partner. Your internal IT team doesn’t need to manage or maintain the connection on an ongoing basis. Ziiware owns the integration and handles changes when your ERP updates or your environment evolves.
How does data stay accurate between ZiiZii and our ERP after go-live?
Product catalogs, customer-specific pricing, and order data are kept in sync between ZiiZii and your ERP through the integration. When information changes in your ERP — new items, updated pricing, modified customer accounts — it flows through to ZiiZii on the next sync cycle. For reps working offline, data is pre-loaded to their device before they go out, so they always have an accurate snapshot. Orders placed in ZiiZii submit back to the ERP and are validated against current inventory at the time of sync.
Does the integration cover all ZiiZii modules, or does each one require separate setup?
The core ERP integration covers the data that flows across all ZiiZii modules — product catalog, customer accounts, pricing, and orders.
